The CMC 35-pin ITP Adapter targets the 2 in 1, Laptop and Tablet market segments. It is a debug adapter that utilizes an existing chassis mounting hole on a circuit board that has been enabled with the “CMC 35-pin” footprint. The adapter contains a debug port connector to allow an ITP-XDP 3BR Pod to be plugged in for debug/validation activities. The adapter provides access to Merged JTAG, Run Control, Hooks (0, 3, and 6), XDP detect (CPU and PCH) and OBS signals (16 data + 4 clocks). See the CMC User Guide for assembly overview. Implementation and CMC footprint definition is located in externally published Debug Port Specifications and some Platform Design Guides. External customers should consult with their Intel Application Engineer for additional details and connectivity.

CMC 35-pin ITP Adapter does not ship with extra hardware - it is intended to thread into a Pem Style standoff in the chassis or a PEM style nut pressed into the board. It is a standard M2 thread.

CMC = Chassis Mount Connector

Note that older documentation referring to Gen1 means the 35-pin version.
